Create menus of your most commonly used programs and files from an icon on the taskbar next to the system tray. You can create menus for any folder in your computer, including the Desktop, My Computer, Control Panel, Favorites, My Documents, and Dial-up Networking. You can arrange files in any order on the menus or have files sorted alphabetically. Easily add and arrange files on a menu by simply dragging and dropping. Starting with QuickRun 3.0, the ability to manage all the programs that run in the system tray was added. The system tray can quickly become very long and unwieldy, taking up half your taskbar or more with software apps that run from a tray icon. With QuickRun, you can take the apps that are running in the tray and move them to another popup menu from a QuickRun icon. This un-clutters the tray but leaves everything still functional and readily accessible. What's New in QuickRun 3.12 -------------------------- * XP Compatibility * QuickRun can now be docked on the left side of the taskbar. * Menu Transparency (Available only in 2000/XP) * Menu Shadows (Available only in XP) * Option to disable Tool Tips * Sidebar text color and font was moved to Menus tab in Customize and can be set differently for each menu. * Menu items are loaded in a background thread so menus are displayed faster. * Windows 95 support removed to make QuickRun faster. System Requirements ------------------- Requires Windows(R) 98, 98 SE, Me, NT, 2000, XP Home, or XP Professional. Windows 95 is no longer supported. Recommended ----------- 16-bit or 24-bit display mode.
